The hotel offers free private parking for up to six cars and is a 20-minute drive from the M6 motorway. Guests can walk to Derwentwater lake for watersports and to The Puzzling Place museum in the town centre.

The Parkside Restaurant serves evening meals using locally sourced ingredients, and the licensed bar offers single malt whiskies, beers, and ciders. Coffee house on site and packed lunches are available for day trips.

Each room has an en suite bathroom with a bath or shower, and soundproofing helps reduce noise from other guests. Executive rooms provide a park view and extra space, while family rooms can accommodate children. Board games and puzzles are available for guests in the shared lounge.
